Caballeros de San José
The Caballeros de San José (Knights of St. Joseph) is a Catholic men’s group or brotherhood dedicated to St. Joseph as a model of faith, fatherhood, humility, and service. This organization is especially common in Hispanic/Latino Catholic communities and is often connected to parish life, devotional practices, and charitable service.
Purpose and Mission
The Caballeros de San José aim to:

Honor St. Joseph as the guardian of the Holy Family and the patron of the universal Church.

Support the pastor and parish through acts of service, prayer, and leadership.

Live out Catholic manhood through humility, integrity, responsibility, and prayer.

Promote family unity, protection of life, and devotion to the Holy Eucharist.
Common Activities
1. Spiritual and Liturgical Support

Participate in and help organize:

Rosaries, especially in honor of St. Joseph.

Novena prayers leading up to March 19 (Feast of St. Joseph).

Processions and liturgies.

Attend retreats and formation nights to grow in faith and virtue.
2. Parish Service

Assist with:

Maintenance and improvement of parish buildings or grounds.

Setting up for Masses, processions, or special events.

Security and order during crowded feast days or celebrations.

3. Brotherhood and Fraternity

Build strong friendships among Catholic men.

Provide support for one another’s families, especially in times of need.

Encourage young men to embrace fatherhood, work ethic, and devotion.
4. Charity and Outreach

Help raise funds for parish projects or charitable causes.

Participate in food drives, construction help, or outreach to the poor or elderly.
