IHM Ladies Club
The IHM Ladies Club (also known in some parishes as the Women's Club, Altar Society, or Council of Catholic Women) is a group of lay Catholic women who come together in fellowship, service, and spiritual growth to support the mission of the parish and the broader Church.
The IHM Ladies Club:
1. Parish Service & Support

Helps with church cleaning, decorating, and maintaining the altar and sacristy (linens, candles, flowers, etc.).

Organize and serve at funerals, receptions, and parish events.

Host hospitality events like coffee hours, potlucks, and parish socials.

Assist with fundraisers for parish needs (roof repairs, vestments, scholarships, etc.).
2. Spiritual Enrichment

Offer Bible studies, retreats, prayer groups, or rosary circles.

Promote devotion to Mary, the saints, and Eucharistic adoration.

Celebrate feasts and liturgical seasons with prayer and reflection events.
3. Fellowship & Community Building

Foster friendship and support among IHMC Catholic women.

Encourage the involvement of new parishioners, especially women.

Provide a welcoming and nurturing space for faith-sharing and personal growth.
