Homebound Ministry
The Homebound Ministry is a pastoral service dedicated to caring for parishioners who are unable to attend Mass or parish activities due to illness, disability, or advanced age. Trained ministers as Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, they visit these individuals in their homes, nursing facilities, or hospitals to bring them the Eucharist, share Scripture, pray with them, and offer companionship. The ministry helps maintain the person’s spiritual connection to the Church community, assuring them they are remembered, valued, and part of the Body of Christ.
